Thanks to Tara, I have been introduced to a new more healthy lifestyle. I did her 10 day detox cleanse and felt so great afterwards that I decided to keep up with it as best I could. In total I lost around 5 pounds and have been able to keep that off. Tara is a great coach who wants her clients to have balance and still enjoy a break now and then. She is always encouraging and has great tips for maintenance! Thank you Tara
I’ve struggled with my weight since I had my first baby 23 years ago. I’ve lost weight several times, but I always ended up gaining it back. Food was an escape for me. I would eat when I was happy, sad, and every emotion in between. My weight was out of control, I had high blood pressure, severe depression, and I was miserable. If I kept going down this unhealthy path, I was afraid I wouldn’t be around to see my grandkids be born and other important life events. I reached my low point when I found out that I was pre-diabetic. I decided I had to do something. I was barely making it through the day. In other words, I was barely surviving, and I wanted to thrive. I reached out to Tara for help, and that’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. She helped me develop a healthy relationship with food. I gave up diet soda (which is a huge accomplishment for me) and eliminated processed foods from my diet. I also started exercising, and being grateful for the many blessings in my life. Tara empowered me and helped me realize that I’m strong enough to do anything I want to do. She helped me realize my worth, and now I live each day with a renewed sense of self and a realization that I deserve to be healthy and happy. Tara helped me gain the tools to work through my emotions, instead of using food to escape my feelings. I’ve lost over 50 pounds, I’ve cut down on my blood pressure medication, and my energy level is through the roof. Tara’s program works. She helps you in all aspects of your journey, and she truly cares about your progress. I will be forever grateful for the positive impact Tara has made on my life.
I have had the opportunity to work with Tara on a detox cleanse and then onto a "clean eating" adventure. In addition to her knowledge of nutrition, Tara is compassionate and takes the time to understand where you are in your journey. She helps you to realize you sometimes have detours but keeps you focused on your goal.When I first started working with Tara, I was unable to exercise to my full potential. I thought I was eating well, but came to find out I was not. I suffered from chronic inflammation and gerd which I attributed to stress. Well the stress has not gone away. :). Life is stressful sometimes. My food intake has change which enables me to exercise more and take on new challenges. I am down 26 pounds and continue to make new goals for myself. I first worked with Tara in January on her fit and lean challenge. I learned quite a bit from her and started to get motivated.Over the next few months I was losing and gaining in small amounts and couldn’t understand why. While I thought I was on plan,it was frustrating when the scale didn't continue to move in the downward direction.I wrote to Tara in May and ask her if she could help me. I had realized I was binging on sugar and unhealthy carbs. I would go for weeks without the sugar but once I started again it was hard to stop.Tara introduced me to her “Reset Cleanse Detox Program”. I was hesitant but once I got to day four I was feeling a difference. I had been suffering with inflammation which kept me from exercising to the level I wanted to. I also was on medication for Gerd which didn’t seem to be helping and I would go day to day with a constant burning in my throat.At day two of the cleanse , I stopped taking the medication with my doctor's approval. This was wonderful. I finished the cleanse and went on to a newer healthy lifestyle with Tara’s knowledge, guidance and support. She is awesome to work with and knows what works.She takes the thinking out of your planning for meals so you can concentrate on how your body is reacting to the foods.I have now lost over 25 pounds and I am working out 5 days a week. We all know that when looking for guidance on how to eat well, lose weight, gain weight, or as in my case dealing with food sensitivities but to what foods? There is a deluge of information out there in cyberspace.Tara Liz helped me to sort through the myriad of theories of what I should and should not eat the good verses the bad diet. She was empathetic to my distress and with her professionalism and understanding of good nutrition, Tara Liz guided me to hone in on what foods not to eat and which were possibly causing much of my distress. Tara set up a great detox for me in which she included a breakdown for each day on what to eat.Also, I was given many recipes and a grocery shopping list of essential products I would need on hand.Tara was very helpful during the whole process. If I was confused or had questions about anything in the print outs I was given she'd always answer my texts/emails promptly and always checked in with me to see how I was doing/feeling.After 10 days I am excited to say I lost 8 lbs !!! It's a great feeling and about half way through I had gotten into a groove and was feeling more confident overall in my choice to live a healthier life style. After the detox I can definitely feel the effects different foods have on me and how even the littlest of sugar can effect my energy. It's very interesting and informative. It's a good feeling to know the control I really do have over how I want to feel.Tara's detox is a valuable process that will definitely have you learn a lot about yourself!

I began working with Tara about one year ago, at a time in my life when it felt like things were simply not going to get better for me. I had come to reside in the fact that the life I was meant to have was a mediocre one at best, and there was nothing I could do about it. I had a job I hated, was barely making enough money to pay the bills, had a devastating breakup after a 4 year relationship, and was at the highest weight I ever was in my life. Although I occasionally put on a happy face when I needed to, I was miserable. I tried several therapists, random diets, applied for a million jobs, you name it, I tried it - to no avail.
When I began speaking to Tara about these problems, I knew right away this was going to be a different approach. Tara was able to really teach me how to rethink things, how to face these obstacles with a different mind set. I learned so much about myself, what I really wanted, what I didn't want, and how to seize the opportunities in life that I thought had already passed by me - and to find endless new opportunities! I learned so much about living a healthy lifestyle and how to eat foods that I'd never even heard of before and their amazing benefits - not only in the way you look, but the way you feel and think. It takes work and dedication, and Tara made sure to stay on top of me and keep me going in a positive, support way whenever I felt stuck. The results have been tangible - I not only fit into jeans I haven't been able to wear in 5 years now, but I've met the man I think I'm going to marry and start a new job - in the field that I love - tomorrow! The things Tara has instilled in my lifestyle are not "crash diet" type lessons, they're a way of life, that is so healthy and happy...I can't wait to continue to grow and get better every single day, and to pass on the amazing things I've learned to others in need.

It's been a rewarding experience working with Tara. After completeing the Fit & Lean 30 Day Challenge I have lost 8 pounds and am living a much heathier lifestyle. She has provided me with the tools that I needed me to make the healthy food choices. This helped me to lose weight and increase my energy. I have also stepped up my workout regiment and walk daily. I first did the detox cleansing program the week before Thanksgiving. Tara did advise me to maybe wait until after the holiday, but I decided to do it anyway. She gave me great advice and tips about preparing myself for this for ex. limiting my coffee intake so that it would not be such a shock to eliminating it completely. The results of this detox were amazing. I began feeling like my stomach deflated immensely by the third day, the skin on my face felt so smooth as if I had a facial. The benefits were endless. My ONLY regret that I did not take Tara's original advice which was to wait until after the holiday to do this. I put all the weight back on that I had lost and all the all the benefits that I had gained were lost. NEXT, I was determined to try again and this time stuck with it and have been feeling so much healthier since. I also did Tara's 30 day challenge which was a huge success as far as living a much healthier lifestyle making healthier choices! I cannot say enough about Tara's detox program and also the 30 day Challenge! I highy recommend Tara and her programs if you are ready to lose weight and start living a healthier lifestyle.
I began working with Tara when I learned my father was very ill, an my fiancé and I decided to move our wedding up so my father could be a part of it. I had 7 weeks to get to my wedding weight. I had no idea how to even begin. Tara talked me through the detox and said it would be a good way to kick start my weight loss and I thought it would be worth a try.
I grew up a junk food addict, and while I had been slowly eating more vegetables and weaning myself off soda and then diet soda etc., I had no idea how much sugar and processed food I was putting in my body. The cleanse was difficult. The first three day especially. I felt moody and irritable. I had muscle aches in my back, buttocks and legs. I had headaches from caffeine withdrawal. I was exhausted. But Tara was with me every step of the way and encouraged me to keep going. The trick for me was to keep something healthy in my bag at all times, so when I was tempted I had something to use as replacement therapy.
I was so pleased with myself for going through all 10 days of the cleanse. My co-workers began to notice my weight loss after day 8 and by the end of the cleanse I had lost 8 pounds!!! But what surprised me most was that, I don't want to go back to all the caffeine and processed foods...not as much anyway. I still miss cheese. But, I found that I was okay without it. I am learning new ways to cook and I and my fiancé like it better.
There are many steps to becoming healthy, and starting with the cleanse helped me to get a big hurtle out of the way.
